Summary
Kegels Trainer is a private, local-first Android app. It does not collect, share, or transmit any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. The app stores all data — your session history, streak, profile settings, custom workouts, ratings, and premium-unlock status — locally on your device in an encrypted Isar database. We do not have a server. We do not have a database. We do not have a user table. There is no way for us to see what you do in the app.
What we share
Nothing. The app makes no network requests except to Google Play Billing when you choose to unlock the premium tier. That transaction is processed entirely by Google under Google Play's own terms of service (https://play.google.com/about/play-terms). We never see your card details, billing address, or payment metadata.
Permissions we request
- VIBRATE — to deliver haptic cues between squeeze/release phases
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to send the daily reminder you opted into during onboarding
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — to fire reminders at the time you chose
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to re-arm reminders after a device reboot
None of these permissions transmit data off your device.
Analytics, crash reporting, telemetry
We do not embed any analytics SDK, crash reporter, or telemetry tool. There is no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics, no Sentry, no Mixpanel. We chose not to. If the app crashes, you can email us a description; we cannot see it otherwise.
Children's privacy
This app is intended for adults (18+) for pelvic floor wellness purposes. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
Your rights
- Delete your data: Uninstall the app. Android removes the on-device database during uninstall.
- Export your data: Premium users can export their complete session history to CSV via the "Export CSV" button on the Stats screen.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will be announced in the app's release notes.
